The company recently released the highly anticipated ‘Groups’ feature for the Nintendo Switch.
The announcement took the fanbase by surprise. The nifty addition to the Switch’s already impressive software arsenal received much fanfare upon launch. Since then, users have had a few days to get acquainted with the feature. And the Japanese company have accrued some intriguing reactions online.

Nintendo Switch’s ‘Groups’ feature is a hit amongst fans
Nintendo fans have long had to deal with countless icons on their Switch. Constantly scrolling through a sea of titles with no folders insight. However, the company recently blessed its fans with the ability to create groups of applications at their convenience. Fans can finally bid adieu to endless scrolling, as update 14.0.0. allows you to create up to 100 folders with 200 titles each, As per reporting by SwitchForce.
That makes for a whopping 20,000 games just waiting to be formed into neat little packages. For the uninitiated, to create a group you first need to install update 14.0.0. Afterwards, simply open the Switch Home menu, scroll to the right and select ‘All Software’. From there, users can simply press the L Button to create and open groups.
The unexpected feature has resulted in a lot of smiling faces. As this quality of life feature makes operating the Switch a lot less cumbersome. Although one can’t access groups from the home screen, it’s a massive improvement overall.
