Nintendo Fans Rejoice as Mario Strikers: Battle League Update Promises a Much-Needed Character Addition

Nintendo has been riding high on the success of its recent releases in the last few months. It won’t be an over exaggeration to say that 2022 is proving to be a dream come true for the Japanese giant.

But the developer and publisher is not done yet in offering major surprises to the fans. Just recently, it revealed a new update which is set to release this week for the Nintendo Switch hit Mario Strikers: Battle League. And hardcore gamers are already excited since this update will finally introduce a beloved character.

Nintendo fans are hyped for Daisy in Mario Strikers: Battle League

Mario Strikers launched last month for the Switch. It’s an association football title made by Next Level Games while being the third entry in its franchise. So far, it has managed to impress the players in terms of offering good mechanics and multiplayer experience.

However, a few of the fans were not happy by the lack of ample characters in its roster. Now it looks like Nintendo has decided to address this issue in a fantastic manner. Just recently, the official account of the company announced two new characters making their appearance in the upcoming update for Mario Strikers: Battle League.

While one is Shy Guy, the other fan-favorite character is none other than Princess Daisy. Yes, she’s coming to the Switch game very soon. The official account on Twitter dropped a stylish animation clip featuring Daisy while announcing her arrival.

Die-hard Daisy lovers wasted no time in dropping their reactions. It seems as if most of them were waiting for her debut since the game’s initial launch in June. They were disappointed that she didn’t make it to Mario Strikers at the time of release. But now that she’s almost here, Nintendo fans can’t contain their excitement.

Gaming enthusiasts will also get to witness more Nintendo titles later this year. The coming months are packed with some of the most anticipated launches. To name a few, there is Splatoon 3, Bayonetta 3, and Mario+Rabbids Sparks of Hope. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is also coming as well, after the astronomical success of Pokemon Legends: Arceus earlier this year.
