The seminal franchise Mario Kart has birthed 14 games in its lifetime. With the latest console launch being MK8 Deluxe. Accordingly, the Booster Course Pass will bring 48 retro courses from across the franchise’s history to the Switch title.

Wave 1 of this DLC is already here, bringing popular tracks like Paris Promenade and Toad Circuit to the handheld. And with many such waves to follow, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is quickly becoming the ultimate Mario Kart game. It is important to note that these tracks aren’t creative overhauls of the original tracks.

But fans have the option of choosing their own path on some of these tracks. Nintendo has essentially compiled the various track variants from Mario Kart Tour into one course.
