Nintendo has offered many memorable franchises so far in its history, but none is as appealing as Zelda. This is one universe that has kept the fans involved with its various entries throughout the years. While its players are waiting for the next installment of Breath of the Wild, there’s probably one more classic game in the series which is equally special as the predecessor of the anticipated sequel.
This game is none other than Hyrule Warriors. It was released back in 2014, even before Breath of the Wild swayed the Nintendo players. Although HW is an old title now, it recently got a major recognition from the fans on the social media. All thanks to the latest Marvel movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Zelda Hyrule Warriors fans call it the Multiverse of Madness, praising the Nintendo classic
For those uninitiated, Hyrule Warriors arrived almost eight years ago for the Wii U console. It’s a hack and slash title from Omega Force, while also being a crossover of two titles from Koei Tecmo and Nintendo.
Hyrule Warriors brought the settings and characters of The Legend of Zelda and Koei’s Dynasty Warriors series together. This was amazing to witness in 2014 for all the gaming enthusiasts.
Link was still the main character of this title, the iconic protagonist from the Zelda universe.
Although the game was fun and beautiful, due to its multiverse kind of aspect, it probably got overshadowed. It happened after the launch of Breath of the Wild in March 2017. The latter has mainly kept the Nintendo fans hooked since then and now its next part is expected to arrive in 2023.

However, recently, the craze for Hyrule Warriors was resurrected once again, by a strange tweet, connecting it with Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The reason for this weird comparison was that both the film and the 2014 game have one thing in common: the aspect of multiverse.

Hence, the tweet tried to show the grandness of Hyrule Warriors and how amazing it felt like to explore its entire story and characters, similar to MCU’s recent Doctor Strange outing.
Fans expressed their love for the game
Those players who adored this game also resonated similar feelings in their replies.
I loved this game to hell and back on New 3DS, can't wait to play it again on Switch.
Never played it on Wii U because I stopped playing on dedicated home consoles after the Wii.— Snek With an ATM (@MegamanElric18) May 9, 2022
