Now they are going to get a huge surprise in Animal Crossing, based on the latest news from the developing team. It looks like the famous Spanish festival, La Tomatina, is coming to the adorable world of the Nintendo Switch exclusive.

La Tomatina is now in the Nintendo hit ACNH!

The country of Spain is known for many things but La Tomatina is the real attraction for hundreds of thousands of people who visit the European nation to participate in this festival full of fun and entertainment. It’s held in the Valencian town of Buñol, in the east of Spain, 18.5 miles from the Mediterranean. Participants throw tomatoes at each other while indulging in tomato fights. Since 1945, this amazing festival has been held on the last Wednesday of August.

Now the Nintendo Switch exclusive Animal Crossing is also set to offer La Tomatina to its players. Right now, they can buy various items based on this traditional festival, from Tanuki Shopping.

The catch, however, is that the items will be available only till August 31 since that’s the day when La Tomatina will be celebrated in Spain. So the players have a few days to get a feeling of throwing tomatoes, by purchasing related items based on the festival.
