Well, although a lot of users subscribe to the membership, it is important to add new content to retain the user base. And that’s exactly what Nintendo plans to do. The Switch Online subscription receives a content update now and then, adding in new games. Nintendo also shared plans of releasing new features, new console games support, and more with time.
Nintendo Switch Online library receives 3 new NES and SNES games

Kirby’s Avalanche and Fighter’s History were originally released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment Systems. And, Daiva Story 6 Imperial Of Nirsartia is a part of a 7-part series of action video games developed for the Nintendo Entertainment System.
Kirby’s Avalanche is a puzzler from the 1990s, belonging to the iconic Kirby franchise. On the other hand, Fighter’s History is a fighting arcade game, originally released in 1993. Both these games alongside Daiva Story 6 Imperial Of Nirsartia went live for users with the membership today, giving the library a new spark.
What does the Switch Online membership cost?
The above-mentioned games are available at no extra charge with the Switch Online subscription. The basic subscription is available at $3.99 per month or $19.99 annually and comes with a collection of free SNES and NES games, including the new ones announced today.
Users can also get the premium subscription, Switch Online + Expansion Pack, at $49.99 annually. The expansion pack subscription comes with free DLCs, and a separate library of Sega Genesis, and Nintendo 64 games alongside all the benefits of the basic subscription.
While it may seem like a small cost to pay for a free library of games, online multiplayer, and cloud backup, many fans still want Nintendo to include their favorite classic games on the list. Otherwise, they don’t consider the subscription worth it. As a result, many even choose to not renew their subscription at times.
