Nintendo recently released a new update for its widely popular title Mario Kart 8 Deluxe alongside the first wave of much-awaited Booster Course Pass DLC. Before jumping into any specifics, it’s important to note that Nintendo hasn’t officially released the first wave traces with the update.

Once you successfully download the entire update and the course, you can only take a look at the cups, but you cannot play any of them. This baffles the majority of fans out there waiting for the first wave of DLC pass to drop sooner than ever.

Interestingly, the update also doesn’t reveal any kind of bug fixes or official patch notes for the game, simply because there is none. The update only acts as mere support for the eight remastered tracks that have been added to the game. So that it’s ready to get started as soon as the racetracks go live. Notably, Nintendo promises some exceptional improvements on those remastered race tracks.
