Nintendo Army Thrilled for New Direct Featuring Super Mario Bros. Movie’s New Trailer

As one of Nintendo’s prime Ips, Super Mario bros get special treatment in a number of ways. They have their own Lego sets; further, they always get a big mainline entry with every new console.

This is the second big-screen outing for Super Mario Bros

Super Mario Bros also became the first to get a feature film adaptation. It was released in 1993; however, it was not what fans were expecting. The movie changed the vibrantly colorful world of Super Mario Bros. into a grim dystopia. And fans were disappointed. After that Nintendo took a break from trying to make movies on their characters. However, this changed recently when Nintendo announced an animated movie starring everyone’s favorite jumpy plumber and his brother.

The studio working with Nintendo released the trailer of the film a month back. And it was met with a positive reception from most fans of the series. Some fans described it as being very honest with the original world of Mario. This sparked a lot of excitement among people and they started waiting for their full look at the movie.

Now it has been revealed that Nintendo is planning a direct for the 29 of November. Also, this direct would be completely focused on the movie’s new trailer. This trailer would give fans a proper look at every character in the movie. People are excited indeed; as they are expecting the story and the world to be as faithful to the source material as its art style.

The animated feature itself would release on 7 April 2023. And it is in production at Universal-owned Illumination studios. We know them best for The Despicable me series. The film would star Chris Pratt as Mario, Charlie Day as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as princess peach, and Jack Black as Bowser. Also, other popular actors such as Keegan-Michael Key and Seth Rogen are also playing some crucial roles in this upcoming movie.
