Recently Nintendo held a Pokemon showcase. During this event, they revealed a bunch of new details regarding new and upcoming Pokemon titles. Aside from smaller distractions, the company also revealed a couple of DLCs for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

The plan is to release this DLC for this game in two parts, and these parts would bring a bunch of new content for its fans. What is curious is that this DLC would be a single piece of expansion divided into two parts.

Nintendo is all set to release two expansion packs for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Nintendo and Game Freak recently held a Pokemon presentation. During this presentation, the developers announced that the latest Pokemon games would get an expansion pack, that would consist of multiple parts.

Both expansion packs combined are titled The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero. And they would launch this DLC in two separate installments, one of which would release in the fall and the other would launch in the winter of 2023.

They have named them The Teal Mask and The Indigo Mask respectively, and its set to be released for all Nintendo Switch owners in the Fall and Winter of 2023.

This new expansion would introduce a bunch of new features and Pokemon to these games alongside a completely new area. However, fans were treated to yet another surprise as the developers even showed off two new legendary Pokemons making their debut with this expansion. These new legendary Pokemon are Ogerpon, and Terapagos.

The Teal Mask would see players exploring the land of Kitakami. They would visit here as part of a school trip. And the Indigo Disc would take them to Blueberry Academy as an exchange student.

This expansion pass would be available for a price of $34.99. Additionally, Nintendo informed players that they would have to purchase a DLC pack matching their version of the game. Scarlet and Violet both would get their own separate version of this expansion pack.

However, those ordering this DLC before 31 October 2023 would also get access to new Pokemon and costumes.

Alongside this DLC, the developer is still hard at work fixing all the glaring issues these two games launched with. Nevertheless, it sold over 10 million units within three days of its launch. Now that has increased to 20 million within six weeks of this game’s launch.
