Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is not far from launch. Just a couple of weeks from now, every fan will have one of the most anticipated games in their hands, enjoying it to the fullest. They would be uncovering every secret and being face-to-face with every story detail they have been trying to dig up till now.

One thing that people are most excited about in this game is the new Ganon. He looks just too good. So good that fans have quickly started comparing him to another classic beefed-up game character, God of War protagonist Kratos.

Fans are pitching God of War against Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom in a very curious way!

Kratos is a no-nonsense character; he saw his family perish, and then he found out he was the one who did the deed. Then he moved on to destroy every single person whom he thought was responsible for it, including himself.

He miraculously survived and then moved onto a completely different realm, where he found yet another family. This is some story; things like these break a person inside out. Kratos was broken too, and 2018’s God of War shows fans his process of becoming whole again. But one thing that never left him was his build. The guy was beefed up to the tee, and he has remained as is till this day as seen in the latest PlayStation exclusive, God of War: Ragnarok.

Ganon is simply a mischievous figure who shows up every few hundred years just to cause havoc in the lives of poor Hyruleans. One thing that everyone agrees on is the fact that he looks pretty badass doing so. He always towers over his archenemy Link, and even in death, he finds a way to look glorious.

Competition between these two on the basis of looks is just silly. As characters, they cannot be more apart. One is a character who is grey at best, while the other is a completely negative figure. Yet, the increasing popularity of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has invited this unlikely comparison. It would be too soon to say who has won yet, but both sides have some compelling arguments to make.

Fans are widely divided about this one!

Fans of both of these characters can’t seem to find a middle ground. Some say they hate one and love the other. While some have completely taken this thing to the level of console wars.
