The global pandemic of 2020 was harsh upon everyone except the gaming industry. Gaming turned into a full-time occupation in the last few years for many, but the worldwide lockdown gave it an exceptional boost. Content creators like Ninja, Dr Disrespect had already made it big before the year, but streamers like Valkyrae, Disguised Toast and Sykkuno saw a sudden rise in their popularity.

Tyler “Ninja” Blevins allegedly became the first “strict gamer” to reach the $100 million landmark. He is currently the richest gamer in the world. A tweet by Ninja’s manager and wife, Jessica Blevins, on February 19, confirmed this.

NRG Esports Fortnite member Stable Ronaldo brought this to light. Ronaldo’s rant about how Ninja is the richest right now, on his live stream, unveiled a lot about Ninja’s recent jaw-breaking deals and how this was possible for him.

The biggest deals landed by Ninja yet

Ninja’s manager and wife, Jessica Blevins tweeted “100M” on February 19. Although she did not explicitly specify anything else, it’s most likely that the duo has crossed the mark.

Ninja has more money than my whole family tree. Ninja could buy my family. That dude definitely has made over $100 million. That’s probably the only gamer that’s made $100 million like strict gamer. Ninja payed $25 million in taxes so he made over $50 million, that’s a start,” Ron ranted to his viewers.

He then compared his earnings to xQC, FaZe Rug and Dr Disrespect, showing that although one may have more viewers while the other has more popularity, none of them are close to Ninja’s overall earnings.

Ninja owns one of the world’s costliest setups and has his very own clothing line. Additionally, his deals with Mixer and Twitch have reportedly brought in a fortune for the streamer. He has his own Fortnite skins and codes and an audience base that gives him an average of 20 million views per video.

The Mixer deal itself reportedly gave him $30 million, while the next highest earner from Mixer was Shroud with $1o million. Moreover, in 2020, Ninja apparently paid a whopping $50 million in taxes.
