The impending death of Warzone and unsolvable issues of hackers, pushed FaZe Clan member and co-owner Nickmercs away from the title. The streamer made a drastic jump from the game and picked up Apex Legends. The streamer had no prior experience with this game and indeed took some time to learn the ropes of the game. However, he never gave up on vision and continued to grind the game day in and day out.
Now, merely a year later, the streamer has mastered the game at a level not many people can attain. He not only achieved the highest rank of Apex Predator but also turned pro. This is a testament to Nick’s never say die attitude and elite gaming skill, which brought on the cusp of a championship victory at Apex Legends Gaming Championship (ALGS).

Nickmercs failed to lift the trophy but won the community over
The spoils of war always go to the victor and the losing team has to collect their losses with hopes of trying again. This was the case for Nick’s team, including LewdaTV, Deeds, and so on. The trio made it all the way into the grand finals, and it put them one step closer to winning the biggest prize in Apex’s competitive ecosystem.
However, there was just one massive hurdle that they failed to overcome, and it involved Twitch’s superstar iiTzTimmy, Col Apryze, and 100TAIMASSIST. In the final play of the tournament, the two teams ran into each other, but sadly, Nick and his teammates failed to beat them. The streamer offered his statement on Twitter by making use of a hilarious meme from the world of soccer, ‘sometimes may be good, sometimes maybe s**t’.
Sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe shit. Regardless, improvement from last week. We definitely have work to do, and it’s gonna get done baby! Believe in da kiiiiid. GN

The streamer seemed to still be in good spirits despite suffering a heartbreaking loss. Nevertheless, this isn’t the end of the road and the team’s performance was definitely admirable.
Pooooofs! You big birded Fuck. What a savage performance from the lads. Way to take care of business baby. Proud of ya!
We just didn’t come to play honestly. Still an improvement. Lots to work on! Gotta enjoy the ride, you already know
