Father’s day is the one auspicious occasion where children celebrate their fathers for their different roles. While some consider him to be a model, guide, and superhero, the others settle for a friend and protector who stands by them at all moments. Fathers play a crucial role in shaping our lives since birth. They are one reason we learn to walk the right path in life, making us understand the importance of sacrifice. 

So, on account of father’s day, the entire e-sports industry alongside the Warzone Ace, Nickmercs, paid homage to their fathers, thanking them for everything they have done.

Father’s Day has an interesting story of origin. It was first celebrated in the United States over a mining mishap on July 5, 1908, in West Virginia.

The mishap had cost hundreds of lives, giving rise to what we call today Father’s Day. Grace Golden, a daughter of a dedicated reverend, was the first person to propose this day to honor the men who lost their lives in this accident. 

A few years later, Sonna Dodd re-introduced the idea of this day as she wanted to honor her late father, William Smart. Interestingly, Sonara’s father was a civil war veteran who raised her and five other siblings despite being a single parent. As a result, she announced this day at a national level post her education.

Even though different parts of the world celebrate father’s day at different times, the feeling is mutual.

Fans have spotted the streamer talking to his father multiple times and later sharing the conversation with them.

Now, on Father’s day, Nick uploaded a dedicated Twitter post for him and said, “Takin’ a moment to really appreciate my pops today. His guidance & care has helped me become the man that I am today. There’s a lot of incredible fathers out there. Thank you for teaching & inspiring the next generation to become great. Need more like ya! Happy Father’s Day.”

Apart from that, he also attached two of his wedding photos, featuring his father helping him to dress up.
