The e-sports industry pays its respects and expresses humble gratitude toward the fallen heroes.
There are multiple origins to memorial day. Some believe that it first started on May 30, 1968, by commander-in-chief John A. Logan. He first crowned this day as a Decoration day to honor Union Soldiers who died in the civil war.
On the other hand, the others believe its origins trace back to 1865 when the freed slaves started a tradition to honor fallen Union soldiers. They also celebrated emancipation and commemorate those who died for that cause. In the wake of it, the esports took their chance to pay homage to the fallen heroes. Let’s look at what they had to say.
