The latest installment in the NHL video game series, NHL 22, launches in October; aiming to elevate the gameplay with their latest title in the franchise. EA has released new footage of the gameplay showing the fans what they offer, and they couldn’t have been any more enticing To help players select the perfect players for their teams, the developers revealed the player ratings of the top hockey IQ players in two separate lists.

As most hockey fans would know, the sport is one of the most physically and technically challenging sports in the world. Besides sheer strength, it also requires exceptional technique, perfect hand-eye coordination, and, like any other team sport, effortless deking skills. The latest gameplay reveal has left the community wondering who the best player would be in-game.

The pair have a similar ratings when it comes to their ability to run rings around the defense. But Chicago Blackhawks winger, Kane takes the edge over Edmonton Oilers’ McDavid in hand-eye coordination ratings.
Electronic Arts’ NHL 22 comes out this October 15th with a standard and an X-Factor edition; each having individual benefits.
Like every other EA Sports title, NHL 22 will offer 10 hours of free gameplay to their loyal EA Play Subscribers and for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate owners. The pre-orders for NHL 22 are already live. Additionally, the full version of the game will be available for pre-order a few days prior to its official release.
