Microsoft’s Xbox update for March, which released on the 9th, provides information regarding the upcoming Xbox wireless headset, backward compatible Auto HDR and FPS boost settings, and more. However, fans are most pleased to learn about a feature that wasn’t mentioned befo9re. The update has fixed the lingering ‘controller disconnect’ issue players were facing with the Xbox Series X.
Just days into the launch of Microsoft’s new console, players faced this issue. As a result, a thread of ‘controller disconnect’ issues began on Microsoft’s support forum. This is essentially a problem with the controller not registering the input. This issue however seems to exist only with the new Xbox Series X and Series S controllers.
Microsoft finally responded to the issue in January telling Verge. “We are aware some players may be experiencing disconnects with their new Xbox wireless controllers and our teams are actively working on a solution to be included in a future update.”
