Amazon’s latest game, New World, is slowly becoming the center of all the talks but for bad reasons. The game’s release and the hype around it have been a mixed bag. After a few delays when it finally launched for players on Steam, the game exploded in terms of player count but was then reprimanded by the community for long queues and waiting times.
And now, the New World community is raising concerns regarding multiple players exploiting in-game features to ruin the experience for others.

Earlier, players had complained about the long waiting queues. The developers responded by deploying a fleet of new servers and allowed players to transfer their characters for free. Players have still been facing issues nonetheless.
And now another problem has thumped New World. A player named u/grayson1478 is raising serious concerns. In this recent post, the New World says that half of the players on their server have been banned. You can view his post below.
As can be observed, hackers are exploiting the in-game report feature. Every game has a report feature, used for listing players who cheat or use various hacks. It seems like players abusing this feature to wreck the experience of other New World players.
This is a serious issue that needs quick addressing. False reporting other players is a grave thing to do. As reported by the Redditor, half of the players on their server have been banned. Games like New World takes a lot of time and grinding, and hackers should be permanently banned.
