One must be somewhat tired of looking at every piece of news regarding GTA 6 with eagerness. The disappointment of not finding a satisfying answer keeps on increasing by the day. Rockstar Games’ silence on the matter is also not helping the case, as fans expect a developer to at least give some hint regarding their new game. It’s not as if Rockstar Games is doing something out of character; they never speak out about their upcoming games before an announcement; that’s just how they do things.

Rockstar Games might not do the talking here, but there’s someone who has finally given fans a hint about this upcoming announcement. A source that can only be second to the developers themselves. Metacritic on all websites has hinted at the upcoming announcement of GTA 6. They did so recently by launching a page for GTA 6.

Yes, a Metacritic page for GTA 6 is now live, and fans themselves can have a look at this page in its full glory. As is the custom, usually games get a Metacritic page only when they’re announced or close to an announcement. As Metacritic is a website that tries to keep its facts correct, there’s hardly a chance it might have posted this page by mistake.

The matter of gaming platforms and consoles

While Metacritic has launched a page for GTA 6, there’s one unusual thing that has caught the attention of fans all over. The page only mentions two platforms: PlayStation 5 and Xbox One X. No mention of either Xbox Series S or even PC is on that website, which might sound unusual to some but is not.

Rockstar Games will launch their games on PC at a later date. Usually, a GTA game is launched first on consoles, then given at least a year or two to bask in the glory of its success, and then released for PC. Do you think this might be the moment? Do tell us your views in the comments.
