RalphValve, a notable informant, announced the directly associated studios behind Modern Warfare II’s development. The list includes some of the biggest names, like Demonware, Treyarch, Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games, and more.

Following the same, RalphValve also shared Sony’s presence in the development process of Modern Warfare II.

Fans immediately took their guesses on what Sony’s working on. While some said it could be related to a PS VR2 adaption, others pointed at PlayStation 5’s next-gen features. Call of Duty Modern Warfare II could definitely make use of the 3D audio feature and also the DualSense controller’s powerful feedback mechanisms.

If this rumor is indeed true, PlayStation fans may receive a surprise when Modern Warfare II launches or before. Modern Warfare II launches on October 28 for all major platforms, including PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles.
