A new patent suggests the Nintendo Switch 2 is not a straightforward successor

There’s got to be a catch with Nintendo Switch 2, too, right? A patent suggests there is. This recently leaked document that Nintendo filed late last year suggests big changes to the Nintendo Switch’s design.

It appears the analog sticks of the Nintendo Switch have been reduced to one, and Nintendo has moved the screenshot button to the top of this console. There is a headphone jack as well as a flash cart slot on top of the console.
