Multiplayer has been a very crucial part of FromSoftware experiences for a very long time now. Fans are able to play PVP modes in pretty much every game that developer FromSoftware has launched over the years. Besides that, their games also tend to have a robust co-op mode, albeit one that is pretty hard to join.

And that is why the inclusion of multiplayer mode in this upcoming sci-fi action title does not come as a surprise to anyone at all. But this information did not come from From Software, they only launched an impressive story trailer for Armored Core VI though. The game obviously looks incredible and has been clearly influenced by the dark and hopeless world of the Dark Souls games. The world of Armored Core VI too takes humanity for granted and humans are used as a disposable commodity in this game too.

After the launch of that trailer, someone decided that fans should have some better knowledge of this game. They posted pictures of the game’s cases online. Back and front, the Armored Core VI box was on the internet in its full glory. People were quick to notice that this game would support up to 6-player PVP multiplayer mode. And would also allow up to three spectators. This is a surprise in itself given that no one even knew this game had a multiplayer mode.
