Call of Duty Modern Warfare II has been an interesting addition to the long-running action franchise. While it has offered tons of content to the players, they still want more. Especially when it comes to having the elements from its predecessor – the rebooted title from 2019.

The ongoing entry is a direct sequel of the first Modern Warfare by Infinity Ward. Thus, it becomes obvious for it to have aspects similar to the old game from nearly four years ago. But one area where it’s lagging behind is the quantity of maps it has offered to the users so far. Compared to what the devs have done with MWII, the predecessor had a vast list of Multiplayer maps. And now it looks like some players want a handful of them back!

In case anyone missed keeping track of events, Hackney Yard was one of the highlighted maps in 2019’s reboot from Infinity Ward. It was designed for the core 6v6 experience, including regular modes and a temporary night mode as well. Later, it was also added to COD Mobile. While it didn’t attract much appreciation from a lot of users, some of them still miss it for what it offered almost four years ago.

Recently, a Reddit user named Connect-Internal took to the social platform to express their feelings for Hackney Yard. While mentioning their fondness for this location, they wrote in their post that it was their favorite map and they “never really had a bad experience in it.” Moreover, the Redditor also mentioned that the map was very good for modes like Hardpoint. Basically, they want this map to make a return in the latest installment.
