Call of Duty franchise is really witnessing a dream run at the moment, especially after the grand launch of Modern Warfare II last month. And now, the stage is set for its further expansion in Warzone 2. The second offering in the battle royale segment of the series is going to make its awaited debut very soon.
However, despite being hyped for Warzone 2, there are several fans who are disappointed with the game, even before its official release. The reason for their sadness is the massive size of the battle royale. Those who are storage conscious, are just not able to believe that Warzone 2 will eat up a gigantic amount of storage on their devices, combined with Modern Warfare II.

Call of Duty fans can’t imagine how much space Warzone 2 will eat up
A reputed insider had recently reported on the overall size of the awaited battle royale. According to Aggiornamenti Lumia, on Twitter, Warzone 2 will require over 110 GB of capacity to install. To be precise, the game will need 115 GB, as mentioned on the official page for the title on the Xbox store.
Now that’s a lot of requirement for a game to properly settle down. It also implies that once Warzone 2 is out, the overall size of Call of Duty Modern Warfare II will also increase exponentially. After the battle royale’s arrival, the size can spread out close to 200 GB on certain platforms, if not all of them.
Probably that’s the reason why a section of the fans on social media is not happy. They have expressed their disappointment towards the massive space requirement by the game, after the news was first revealed. Some of the fans are so much afraid of losing their storage that they can’t do anything about it.
Others are in a serious dilemma to say the least. They cannot decide if they should keep Modern Warfare II afterwards or just Warzone 2. Then there are those who can’t think of a solution for managing their space. “Gonna need to delete the wedding photos to download this bad boy. Rip”, wrote one user.
