Trevor Phillips has managed to create quite an impression among fans thanks to his character arc. Voiced by Canadian actor Steven Ogg, Trevor has been portrayed as a misogynist who doesn’t back away from owning up to his actions. Trevor, along with Franklin and Michael, has become an iconic character in the gaming community.
Luke stated that Steven “does not like being called Trevor“. While Trevor is undoubtedly a handful of a character, gamers should understand where Ogg comes from as he makes such remarks. Ned said Ogg would much prefer that his fans remember him for his entire body of work, instead of his one role in a video game. Throughout his career, Ogg has managed to enthrall film lovers with his versatility and range, depicting hundreds of different characters. As a colleague in the same industry, Luke confesses to understanding why Ogg doesn’t want to be associated with a single role.
Ned Luke also reveals how they formed a close bond on the sets of GTA V and how their conversations weren’t restricted to Ogg being viewed as Trevor all the time. Luke expects their fans also to recognize Ogg’s talents and applaud him for his extensive passion for acting and films rather than viewing him as the voice for Trevor.
