The next entry in the NBA 2K series is arriving in September 2023. Throughout its run, this series has brought forth stunning graphics and fluid gameplay for basketball fans. The latest entry, NBA 2K24, is looking to carry on the glory of its earlier titles. However, the developers have also decided to include something special in the game.

The game will feature Kobe Bryant as the face of the upcoming game. This was a tribute from the developers and fans are giving positive feedback to this decision. Now the game is looking to expand the goodwill earned from fans by offering them multiple special editions coming with the base game.

NBA 2K24 is set to feature a Kobe Bryant and 25th Anniversary special edition on release

The base game is already called the Kobe Bryant Edition with him as the cover of the title. This edition, however, will not include any special items. This version is available for $59.99 on PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Xbox One and $69.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Furthermore, a Gamestop exclusive edition featuring WNBA All-Star Sabrina Ionescu is also making its way to the release date. This WNBA edition will also be a standard base game at release.

The Black Mamba edition has arguably become the most awaited one for this basketball game. This special edition will include bonuses every NBA 2K24 player will want. Players get about 100,000 virtual currency combined for both MyTeam and MyCareer modes. Furthermore, this pack included multiple skill boosts along with a 2-hour double XP coin and Gatorade boosts. This pack will be available for $99.99 on all platforms.

Finally, the 25th Anniversary Edition brings multiple gifts for the hardcore fans of this game. Players will get 50,000 MyTeam points along with multiple types of Gatorade boosts and skill boosts. However, the biggest gift would still be the 12-month subscription to the NBA League pass coming with this purchase. This is a limited-time edition release only available until September 10 for a price of $149.99 across all platforms.
