Initially, the pictures were shared from a renowned sports photographer who was also invited to this event. Cassy Athena, who’s an artist and photographer from Los Angeles, California, was one of the first few individuals to share images from the event. On her Instagram profile, Cassy dropped a story while writing that she “stopped by to check out the new game preview”.
Before the event itself, however, Cassy had informed her followers on Twitter that she was “going to be hanging with Call of Duty this weekend in Vegas!” Maybe not many people noticed it. But now, they will be able to connect the dots clearly.

Speaking of the anticipated installment itself, Modern Warfare III is expected to be a continuation of the current title. It’s rumored to be helmed mainly by Sledgehammer. The latter is the same studio that worked on Vanguard more than a year ago.
Activision is yet to unveil the first look at this year’s offering. Going by the strong leaks so far, it could be introduced in the first week of August. One more interesting thing to note is the above tweet indicates, through the images, that the new game will be on PlayStation as well – at least for this year.
