The 2017-released battle royale game has collaborated with many famous personalities, especially big-name athletes. Fortnite has released skins for soccer stars like Neymar, Harry Kane, then NFL quarterback Patrick Mahomes II, and NBA King LeBron James. Now, Epic Games is bringing in another NBA superstar to be part of the Icon Series.

Giannis Antetokounmpo joins the Fortnite universe

The official Fortnite Twitter account shared a post that reveals the NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is joining the Fortnite Cion Series roster after MrBeast. The Grek Freak will get two variations in his in-game skin. All skins and items related to the NBA player would be available in the Fortnite store from December 24.

As mentioned, there are two variations for this Fortnite Icon Series skin. As for the basic skin, he would be wearing a hoodie and joggers with a black and green color scheme. And on top of the hoodie, he would wear a long white sleeveless coat with some green accents. This skin is possibly based on his Milwaukee Bucks kit.

But for his second outfit, Epic Games gave tribute to his famous nickname ‘Greek Freak’. The player is called by this name due to having a Greek heritage. So, his second Fortnite skin does a black Greek warrior armor with some designs in gold. Further, Antetokounmpo’s eyes shine bright with lightning like the Greek God Zeus.

As for weapons, the NBA star would get a shield and sword suitable for a Greek warrior. Furthermore, the Spear could be just a cosmetic for the pickaxe. There are also rumors that this skin would get black and green-colored wings to replace the standard gliders. Undoubtedly, it would be a skin to look forward to.
