NBA 2K is the most famous sports simulation game that offers the best basketball experience to fans in the virtual world. It’s been 24 years since the first game of this basketball simulation came out. And 2K Sports will release the 24th installment of the series on September 8, 2022.
This game allows players to not only control real-life NBA players and play matches, but fans can also take a managerial role and manage a team to glory. If that’s not enough, 2K sports got a special mode for the NBA legend Michael Jordan.
Michael Jordan Challenges returns after 12 years
Michael Jordan is among the most famous and greatest NBA players in history. Jordan has won six NBA Championships in his 15-year-long career as a player. Undoubtedly, he is one of the leading forces in promoting the NBA around the globe.
So, 2K Sports always have Jordan in their games to honor him, and players can use him in the game. However, this is quite widespread in sports simulation games to celebrate the legends like F1 games have Michael Schumacher and the FIFA series have Pele.
However, the 2K Sports took honoring the legend to another level, creating an NBA 2K23 mode for fans to relive Michael Jordan. The NBA fans would experience the glorious career of MJ, from his humble beginnings to becoming a six-time NBA Champion.
But 2K Sports isn’t introducing this mind-blowing mode for the first time. In the past, they already had this mode for the NBA 2K11, which was a huge success. So after 12 years, another NBA 2K video game would feature the Jordan Challenge.
Twitter reactions to the NBA 2K22 Jordan Challenge
Undoubtedly, it seemed like a great move by 2K Sports to let fans relive Jordan’s life. However, the fan reactions weren’t as the developers planned. Some fans supported the mode, but some were against it. Instead, they asked 2K Sports to come up with something new.
Didn't y'all do this already? A couple of years ago. Look get rid of that trampoline crap. And hook up wit Ice Cube and get the Big3 on 2K Mike.
