Playstation has a number of studios working on several games at the moment. Almost all of them are currently developing generation-defining titles such as Spider-Man 2, Wolverine, The Last of Us 3, and a new Uncharted game.

But there are some studios that are working on games that have not even been announced yet. Studios like Sony Bend and Housemarque are working on currently unannounced triple-A titles that we might see in the coming future.

But there is one studio that might be working on a curious new title. Bluepoint Games are known to bring flawless remakes of some popular old games to new PlayStation consoles. And it seems like they are currently hard at work on something new.

What PlayStation title are Bluepoint games teasing?

Recently Insomniac games posted an estimated date for their upcoming Super-Hero game Spider-man 2 on Twitter. They directed their followers to a PlayStation blog article. This article detailed every upcoming PlayStation title for next year.

But there was one more blog post on the PlayStation blog that had the curiosity of fans. This a post wishing all Playstation fans happy holidays. This post had some art representing almost all of Sony’s PS studios.

And one of them was art for Bluepoint games. It represented four gift boxes, three were open, one had a Sword leaning on it, the second had an Axe, the third was closed and the fourth had a Shield.

All these items represent different games that Bluepoint worked on, Sword is for Shadow of the Colossus, Axe is for God of War Ragnarok, on which Bluepoint was a support studio, and the Shield represented Demon Souls remake.

And so, fans are left wondering what the closed box stands for, what does it hold inside? This is being taken as a tease of some upcoming remake, by fans.

Is it Bloodborne Remake or Metal Gear Solid?

Bluepoint games are popular for making some really stunning remakes of popular old titles. They have been working on something new for at least 3 years now. Fans have been expecting them to announce a remake of the popular From Software title Bloodborne, but it never came.

This latest teaser is being taken by fans as the sign of a Bloodborne remake.

There are also rumors of a remake of Metal Gear Solid in development exclusively for Playstation 5. The remake is said to be in the works for around 4 years and is almost done, and is very close to an announcement. It also is said that the game would probably launch in 2023.

Some fans are expecting this game to be a Metal Gear Solid remake. Now it remains to be seen what that closed gift box contains, and for that, we have to be patient and wait.
