HBO Max’s The Last of Us: Episode 3 is being called the most important TV series episode in the history of cinema. This is because of the fact that a side story about two men in love with each other is portrayed in the series with no wrong intentions. It shows the backstory/lore of what the world did to other people after the zombie breakout apart from our main characters.
However, the real praise-worthy point of this emotional backstory is actors Nick Offerman and Murray Bartlett, who acted in the heart-wrenching scenes with just utter ease. Although, it might not have been the same for Nick Offerman, if not for his wife.

Nick Offerman, the acclaimed actor known for his portrayal of Ron Swanson in the hit NBC series ‘Parks and Recreation’, was on the verge of declining the role of Bill in the upcoming HBO adaptation of ‘The Last of Us’. During a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Offerman revealed the key factor that ultimately swayed him to accept the part: the persuasive influence of his wife of 20 years, Megan Mullally.
“I didn’t have time on the calendar to say yes to this job,” Offerman stated. “And my incredible goddess of a wife read it and she said you’re going to Calgary buddy. You have to do this.”

Offerman’s portrayal of the cautious but vulnerable Bill has generated widespread acclaim, with fans and critics alike praising his ability to bring depth and nuance to the character. Along with Murray Bartlett, who played the role of Frank in Episode 3, the duo performed an Oscar-worthy performance.
The Beauty of Episode 3

But that’s the beauty of cinema, and the latest episode of The Last of Us shows exactly that by putting it up. Not everything that happens in the world has to do with the pain that is personal.
