The development of this game restarted like STALKER. 2: Heart of Chornobyl in 2018. It was also announced that the game would be developed with Unreal Engine 5.

The developers of STALKER 2 took to Twitter to reveal a new trailer for the game. The 2 minutes thirty-second-long trailer showcased the excellent lighting and environmental details of the game, of course with some story too.

As long-time fans of the series might be aware, this series has been more popular for its creepy environments and the details that they hold. Back when the first game in the series launched fans loved it for its mysterious world, and creepy environments. And with this sequel, fans have somewhat similar expectations.
