Recently, WB games and Rocksteady decided they have a game worth showing off. So they partnered with Sony on this and presented six minutes of gameplay footage of Suicide Squad members cursing, passing funny comments, and shooting enemies.

This footage also had some funky music and a bunch of cut scenes featuring Flash, Lex Luthor, and Wonder Woman. And at the end of the video, the much-awaited release date. The game will be available for all on May 26, 2023.

To most fans, it looked like any other third-person shooter out there. They could not help but comment on how this game is basically a third-person shooter with no character to it. Some even noticed that it is weird how they chose four distinctive Suicide Squad members, yet all of them seem to have very similar gameplay mechanics.

The visuals of the game as a whole are also being criticized, with some fans praising this game’s character models. And it is pretty evident, the character models and the voice acting in this game are top-notch.

Story-wise too, this upcoming game looks pretty promising. It would not be reasonable for anyone to comment on its gameplay or any other aspects as of yet, given the fact that it is still months away from launch.

The game is also revealed to be a very open-ended co-op experience, which requires an internet connection even when players are playing alone. This announcement has also put some fans off this game. We would have to see how WB and Rocksteady work to rectify these complaints.

Fans were not very enthusiastic about this trailer

The gameplay demo was full of exciting moments and action, but it appears fans wanted much more than this. And they have been pretty vocal about their opinion of this game.
