Nintendo February Fest to begin soon
According to the tweet, on February 10 gamers belonging to the region can expect to leave with their hearts full and their wallets lighter as there would be a massive sale on the Nintendo e-shop. Information is scarce about exactly which games would go on sale; however, fans have the number of games included to go off of in the meantime.
Notably, over 1000 games would go on sale this coming Thursday, not a low number by any means. However, fans are wary that a majority of this selection would comprise shovelware. For the uninitiated, ‘Shovelware’ refers to video games with questionable quality and, at times, entertainment standards. You would often find such titles coupled with better performing titles in bundles.

Sales often become an easy way to sell these titles that would otherwise not see much player interest. And the internet seems wary.
Having 1000+ games on sale really isn't something to boast about when like 75% of them are trash shovelware titles that shouldn't be on any reputable digital storefront. Can barely find the games worth buying on the eShop these days.

Significantly, Nintendo has been putting out a plethora of sales recently. Although fans are waiting to see which major titles would see their prices slashed on Thursday, gamers in the past have been able to snag titles like Ori and the Blind forest, and even the original Doom remake. And gamers are preparing themselves.

The sale starts at 1500 CET. Nintendo keeps upping the ante for its recent sales, and with the Switch’s popularity at an all-time high, players look forward to seeing some of the bigger titles on sale this time around. Nintendo is also offering double the Nintendo Gold points on select titles until February 28; if you are on a lookout for these titles, this might be a good time to finally pull the trigger.
