Keeping that in mind, Capcom has finally zeroed in on the launch date for their latest animated movie based in this universe. Resident Evil: Death Island, a movie announced a while ago, has finally gotten a launch date.

It is said that this movie will launch on June 7, 2023. And now that many have gotten a taste of this new wave of games in this series, they cannot be more excited about it.

It appears that this film takes a much darker turn and is basically a full-fledged zombie horror flick. While it does have some of the series’ signature action scenes, it also is not shy about scaring its viewers. This new and upcoming movie will feature fan favorites such as Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield, Clair Redfield, Jill Valentine, and Rebecca. Other than that, there have been a bunch of leaks and rumors suggesting the existence of Resident Evil 8 somewhere at Capcom, and fans cannot wait to see where Capcom takes this series next.
