A theme park attraction based on The Legend of Zelda would be a dream come true for its fans. Imagine being able to go on rides based on the various iconic locations in this series. And collecting stuff based on things found in those games. And finally, ending the day in a small café with food based on in-game dishes like “baked apples”.
Now, Universal recently announced the closure of its Lost Continent theme park. This theme park was set for closure for a while, but Universal decided to finally do it. And it is being said that they have already started prototyping a theme park based on the Legend of Zelda series to replace the Lost Continent.
Of course, it would not happen too soon; these things do take a while to materialize, but fans are getting excited even at the thought of it and have already started discussing the game on which it would be based.

Some say it should be Majora’s Mask, others want it to be Ocarina of Time, but the safest bet would be Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. These are the games making all the noise nowadays after all. But the real deal would only be revealed once it got done!
Is a Zelda movie on the horizon too?
It is a common belief that the Super Mario Bros. Movie only materialized after its theme park opened and was successful. It might just be a way for Universal to create enough hype for a property so that people other than just hardcore fans will come and watch it.
