What could go wrong during the inauguration of a restaurant? Out of the wildest possibilities, instances occur that become exceptions. And the first physical MrBeast Burger opening just dogged the ball. Otherwise, they would have to drop the ball at the restaurant’s inauguration event.

Recently, MrBeast opened the first physical MrBeast Burger restaurant at the American Dream Mall. The mall stands as one of the biggest malls on the planet Earth. Moreover, it has the capacity of holding around 25,000 people. Surprisingly, the mall appeared to be jam-packed to witness the event. However, the crowd could’ve just slipped the chance of eating the burgers because of a mis-happening.

Karl Jacobs, Sapnap (Nicholas “Nick”), and George Davidson recently held a podcast on the YouTube channel BANTER. On the podcast, the three discuss the opening of the restaurant and give a glimpse of the launch, before they dived into the incident that brought the event on the verge of “a disaster.”

Firstly, Karl briefed the strength of the public that was present that day. He said, “There was a point in time where I couldn’t walk from point A to point B without four police officers in all corners of me and I was just walking scrawny little dude just walking across.”

Obviously, it could be challenging to control such a huge crowd. Moreover, them being hungry doesn’t help at all. Furthermore, he described “a scenario” that was “seconds away from something really terrible, genuinely.” And had it been mishandled, the event could have potentially turned into “an absolute disaster”.

Jimmy had a close call with the event that had to serve thousands of people

Karl talked of “a very MrBeast thing” that they had arranged for the people. The people were given the challenge of winning $50,000. The only catch was to stand in the red circle present on the stage located on the bottom floor. And the last person standing could go back home with the money. However, the challenge didn’t go as planned.

While being on stage, Karl and other crew members took pictures with the public. They were taking the phones of the people and this caught more attention. Subsequently, the people started “encroaching on the people’s spaces.”

State troopers mandated Karl to end the challenge right away. Karl said that he received a call from MrBeast saying, “We have to end this challenge right now or they’re shutting down this whole thing,” while a state trooper stood next to Jimmy.

Somehow, Karl took the charge of being the bearer of the sad news. And informed the public about the challenge being stopped. However, he offered $10,000 to the people standing in the circle till now. And also to the ones who had just left the circle a few minutes ago. Luckily, a potential “disaster” was averted, and the event went on smoothly.
