Recently, Jimmy crossed a massive YouTube milestone, bagging 100 million subscribers on his channel. He gave away an island to his 100 millionth subscriber as fans saw the exclusive video on YouTube. So, keeping that idea in mind, MrBeast uploaded a Twitter post, penning down an interesting idea to his fans. With his YouTube knowledge, he wanted to experiment and create an animated movie/series. He said in the tweet: “I’m curious what would happen if I took everything we know about YouTube retention/storytelling/virality and tried to apply it to an animated movie or series.”
Would be a great idea like Beast Animations.

It was just a matter of minutes before his post got traction, as fans expressed their views in the comments section. Here’s what they said.
Personally I don’t think it would translate super well. What people look for in Movie/TV is different from what people look for in YouTube. What people want in YouTube is digestible videos while with series people want to see archs and plot lines that get developed over time

This gonna break YouTube and i like it so please continue 🐐👌😂😘

Would it scale to long form content, just like that?
— Hendrik (@HendrikBoehmer) August 23, 2022
I wonder how much translates
because with YouTube, if something doesn’t hook a viewer immediately, people click off a video
but with movies and TV shows, people will suffer through bad episodes or a slow intro just to get to the good stuff
shit would be an awesome experiment

Honestly… I probably wouldn't want to watch it. Movies and youtube is very different. What does really well on youtube is that overhyped stuff, and while that can work on a movie it would mostly just be that…. so no thank you lol.

Jimmy isn’t wrong about having this thought, as he is one of the apt people to learn the YouTube algorithm. He knows what to sell and when to sell it. To prove this, we can compare MrBeast’s videos where he transitioned from building a chocolate factory to giving out $500,000 as a reward for his challenge. With that being said, it would be interesting to see what Jimmy creates with his brilliant mind.
