MrBeast “Went All Out” Spending Millions of Dollars in Over Half-a-Year of Producing on His Biggest Video Yet

In the world of YouTube, Jimmy Donaldson, aka MrBeast, is the biggest and most significant independent creator in history. He is known for his grand-scale videos with millions of dollars worth of production and crazy challenges that have never been seen before in the platform’s history. 

Currently, Jimmy is the biggest content creator on YouTube. He has over 150 million subscribers and is gaining more at an astonishing rate every single day. His content is already on an astronomical level compared to other creators, yet in a new series of teases on Twitter, he has shared that the upcoming video will be the biggest yet!

Jimmy has shared that he devotes most of his earnings to the production of his videos and the growth of his channel multiple times. With each video, Donaldson tries his best to one-up himself. Even after conquering Antarctica, spending days buried alive, and crushing a luxury car under a hydraulic press, MrBeast says his next video will somehow be crazier than any of these.

On May 3, 2023, Jimmy wrote on his Twitter, “Almost 4,000 hours of editing has gone into my next video.. brand new style, can’t wait for all of you to see it Saturday.” According to simple math, 4000 hours roughly means 167 days’ worth of editing. This means almost half a year was spent by his team finishing the post-production of this video. 

But that is not it; MrBeast also added, “We also spent months setting it up, weeks filming, and millions of dollars on it. I went all out tbh,” revealing that he and his team have outdone themselves with the production costs and overall effort that was put into the making of this particular video. But looking at such massive promises, some fans had their criticisms.

“He’s going to blow up the moon with adhd editing style,” said a user on Twitter. This comment attracted the attention of Jimmy, who replied to it by saying, “It’s the opposite, better storytelling and pacing.” One of the biggest criticisms that MrBeast videos face is the obscure, attention-grabbing editing that they have, but this new video may become the start of a new era for MrBeast.
