With over 160 million subscribers on the account, MrBeast became the most popular channel on the platform. However, it is not YouTube the creator made waves on today, but a much different platform, one with a character limit on posts.

MrBeast ranked second on the list of most followers gained on X, formerly Twitter. The only person above him in follower gains is Elon Musk, the owner of X.

 MrBeast could potentially overtake big names on X

It was no secret MrBeast was popular on X. The highest subscribed YouTuber regularly breaks records for breakfast. However, when World of Statistics announced details of entities that saw the most gains in followers over the last 30 days, MrBeast ranked second! The only person ahead of him on the list was Elon Musk.

MrBeast came in at 1,217,364 and has gained many followers over the last 30 days. What makes his position on the list even more astounding are the other names on the list. The list consists of big names from politics, sports, singers, and even companies. It is no surprise given MrBeast is one of the top creators on not just YouTube, but most forms of social media. He even left behind big celebrities such as Taylor Swift and Kylian Mbappé in the list.

Recently, when Meta launched Threads, it did not take MrBeast long to dominate even this social media platform. His follower count rose quickly as he became one of the first accounts to reach a million followers on the platform.

As for MrBeast’s posts on X, he uses it as a mix of jokes and official announcements. While MrBeast does post announcements related to the brand, you can often find MrBeast engaging in banter with famous personalities on the platform. When Elon Musk tweeted about disappearing mysteriously, MrBeast replied to him, asking if he could get Twitter if that happens.

Moreover, MrBeast’s growth on the platform makes more sense once you look at his tweets from this month. Earlier this month, he held a competition where the person with the most replies to his tweet got his Twitter revenue for a month. Subsequently, lots of people engaged with his tweet, bringing engagement to a new high. Apart from this, MrBeast regularly holds challenges and competitions on X.
