MrBeast Recalls an Embarrassing Episode From His Baseball Days, Says “My Coach Unironically Asked My Mom To Get My Eyes Checked”

Jimmy Donaldson aka MrBeast may be the top dog of YouTube, but just like everyone, he also is not perfect at everything. In his younger days, Jimmy had his fair share of struggles. He had shared in many instances that he lacked skills, especially in sports and athletics. Recently on Twitter, he shared one of the most “embarrassing” sports stories of his childhood. 

With his attention-grabbing stunts and philanthropic efforts, Jimmy gained growth on the platform of YouTube like never before. Knowing even a colossal individual like Jimmy had troubles in his sports class makes him nothing but more human.

MrBeast shares his Little League embarrassment

Little League is a baseball and softball tournament for young schoolgoers. Like many other kids, Jimmy was also asked to participate in the league. But instead of having fun on the field, Jimmy had to go through a hilarious yet gravely embarrassing ordeal. 

On April 20, Jimmy made a short storytime post on his Twitter, sharing his Little League incident where his coach almost believed that Jimmy was blind. The confusion began when Jimmy’s coach witnessed his very poor batting skill on the field. The teacher made Jimmy’s mother take him to an eye doctor. 

“One time I struck out so badly in little league that my coach unironically asked my mom to get my eyes checked and the eye doc said they were fine and I was super embarrassed to tell my coach that I don’t have bad vision I just suck,” said Jimmy about his embarrassing Little League incident.

After witnessing the hilarious story by MrBeast, the fans, and followers burst out laughing, chiming in with jokes and their own childhood stories. Some even connected the dots, saying Jimmy’s coach may have been wanting a part in his phenomenal “helping 1000 bling people” video.
