MrBeast starts the video by telling a skeptical Chris, “Oh, this is on ESPN, it’s probably good.” Turns out, the video was the opposite of what he had expected, as Christ was right. The video was basically the referee having a really bad day at work. Chris exclaims to this, “Oh, he decked him!”
To this, MrBeast tries mocking the player, “My man should be in MMA, not NFL.”
The context behind this video is related to Edinburg High School, Texas’ football player Emmanuel Duron, who was charged with the above incident of assault in a football game in December 2020. In the video below, which was shared by his lawyer, Emmanuel apologized to the referee, stating, “To Mr. Fred Gracia, I would like to apologize to you personally,” Duron said. “I hope you’re doing well. I am extremely sorry for my actions towards you, and I hope one day you can accept my apology.”
