Ad revenue is one of the most important revenue streams for creators on YouTube. It is how they primarily earn on the platform. As a result, the more viewers you have, the more ad revenue you receive. That is how the general consensus is about ad revenue. However, when MrBeast released figures of how much ad revenue his latest video made, people were shocked.
In an Instagram story, MrBeast revealed ad revenue to be at $220,145. While that may seem like a massive figure, for MrBeast, it is small peas. As the years go by, the scale of MrBeast’s operation just grew. In another story, he reported the training video with $200 thousand made in ad revenue took $3 million to set up in the first place!
This includes the cost of buying the train engine, in addition to all other cars and stunts performed in the video, including one with a rocket car. During the video, MrBeast offered one of his fans his credit card to purchase material. This material was used to fortify a case of money surrounded by dynamite. Needless to say, the video had a massive budget given the range and size of stunts performed.

Where does the money come from?
One of the things to understand about MrBeast is that he does not fully put all the money he receives back into the videos. What this means is that there are other components to how MrBeast finances a video. In addition to ad revenue, MrBeast continually receives sponsorships from brands to feature their product in the video. Moreover, Donaldson played it smart to diversify the MrBeast brand to include a whole range of products.

According to Donaldson, the majority of their revenue comes from Feastables, a chocolate bar company launched by MrBeast. First shown vividly during the Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory video, Feastables became one of the most well-known chocolate bars in the world, with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay praising the bar. As a result, it became a primary contributor to how the MrBeast brand runs.
