MrBeast has secured the title of YouTube king for a while. The 25-year-old YouTuber has been making content at an unparalleled rate. And the views he has been stacking do not seem to slow down. He has achieved the pinnacle of success in YouTube at a young age.

However, the YouTube king is feeling lonely at the top. He desires competition that will push him further to make better content. But the fans have started to wonder which solo YouTuber or group actually can stand against him as a rival.

MrBeast wishes to have some competition on YouTube

In a podcast with Colin and Samir, MrBeast talked about the proposition of getting a rival. The YouTuber showed a positive reaction to this, calling it an awesome idea. He said, excitedly, “You would unlock such a different level”. The YouTuber implied that getting a rival would help elevate his content and the rival’s content, leading to better entertainment for fans.

He continued by speculating, “If someone started doing videos at my level or better and fans are like this guy is better than MrBeast, I would go bananas working. It would be crazy.” Looking at the enthusiastic reaction from the YouTuber, the fans are also entertaining the idea of a new MrBeast.

However, there is no YouTuber or group producing content on the scale that MrBeast does. He revealed to Colin and Samir that around $4 million is invested monthly in his content creation expenditures, totaling up to $48 million yearly. But this figure was for his main channel alone. Adding the expenditures from his various other channels like MrBeast Gaming and Beast Reacts, will lead to over $8 million of monthly expenditure, according to Insider.

Can UK supergroup Sidemen present themselves as the rival of the American YouTuber?

Some fans pointed out UK’s supergroup Sidemen could step up as a competition to the 25-year-old YouTuber. But the group still has to match the amount of money the American YouTuber invests in his videos. The most expensive Sidemen video of 2022 cost only around $500,000 to make. Now the MrBeast x Sidemen collaboration video is the most expensive video of the UK group.
