Making a YouTube channel is quite easy. An individual just needs a mail ID to do so. But, achieving massive success on the platform is a nerve-racking challenge. The competition to be the best on the platform is pretty active, and thus the subscriber leaderboards are quite tight. One person who cracked the code and rose to glorious fame in recent times is none other than MrBeast. And, recently, he also gave some tips from all the experience he has on YouTube.
He overtook the likes of PewDiePie to become the most subscribed individual on the video-sharing platform. But, Jimmy thinks that someone who follows his same path won’t be the next 100 million achievers.

Reaching the million subscriber mark is still a dream for many. Even prominent content creators have not reached that point. But MrBeast managed to amass 100 million! His content’s uniqueness has been a driving force behind his increasing popularity.
Jimmy, in a recent reply, addressed why someone who follows his path won’t reach the 100 million mark that he achieved. A recent Tweet went viral which was stating that copying Jimmy’s path is the biggest blunder a content creator can do.

He's mastered his craft & has carved a unique lane
The goal is to create your own style that works in your niche – not to blindly copy something that's working for someone else

The tweet was pointing at the fact that MrBeast has mastered a unique technique and the originality of this is what made him popular. Donaldson was intrigued by the tweet and commented on it. He shook his head accepting what was being said.
Amen. The next 100 mil channel isn’t going to be some lazy person that copies my style
— MrBeast (@MrBeast) March 28, 2023
Donaldson stated that the next person who would hit the 100 million mark won’t be some ‘copycat’. MrBeast subtly called out the people who were “lazy” and are copying his style.
He also hinted that the person who is going to hit the dream milestone would likely be someone with a unique concept. The very theme that made Donaldson a fan favorite.
The Twitter community agrees with Jimmy’s perception
It seems like the people who saw MrBeast’s reply agree with his statement. People stated that the uniqueness someone brings is the attention-grabbing element. They think that content that is copied may seem engaging but chances of it surpassing the original idea are very minimal.
shouldn’t even stop there, people should stop copying each other and be unique, if someone wants to watch a specific type of video/genre, they’ll go to the channel that created it

Well one thing we all can do that is the same but still have different style is to help as many people as we can that's a goal anyone should have and I hold that in my heart.

Some even took this opportunity to make jokes about the situation. They were seen sarcastically commenting that MrBeast just ruined their journey to reach 100 million subscribers.
Just start robbing people, and instead of giving cars to people, steal the cars off the lot. I’ll subscribe and hit that bell.
