The highly anticipated Streamy Awards have recently ended. Fans saw tons of content creators and internet personalities being crowned in various categories. With Kai Cenat winning the Streamer of the Year award and the American TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney winning the Breakout Creator award, this year’s Streamy was absolutely a blast.
But the most coveted award, Creator of the Year, was won by none other than Jimmy Donaldson, aka MrBeast. But shockingly, he was not present at the Streamy Awards this year to accept the award in person. Although he later responded to this situation, too.

MrBeast will be attending the Streamy Awards 2024
MrBeast right now is probably the undisputed King of the Streamy Awards. An individual creator with an astounding 179 million followers on YouTube has made it a habit to win the Creator of the Year award on the biggest stages of content creation. This was his fourth consecutive feather in his coveted crown.
This year, a member of the famous American comedy duo and actor, Link Neal, was there on the stages of the Streamy to present the Creator of the Year Award. While announcing the winner’s name, he said, “If we’re going to give Mr. Beast awards, maybe he should show up. This was not only Link’s desire; everyone’s desire was to see Jimmy take that deserving award with his signature smile.
MrBeast wasn’t shy about responding to this situation either. In a tweet regarding his absence, he replied, “Since he asked nicely, I’ll go next year. So, it’s confirmed that he will be present at the 2024 Streamy.
Why He Wasn’t Present at this Highly Prestigious Event?
So, why wasn’t the Creator of the Year present at this event? Not only this time, Beast has never turned up for the Streamy despite winning this prime award three times in a row previously. In a Twitter interaction, he stated that he has too many things to do nowadays to cope with his timing. He is very busy these days, filming his upcoming videos which is the major reason MrBeast couldn’t show up for the awards.
I’m filming videos 😭

Recently, Beast has also stated that he is having serious issues with his mental health. In order to serve regular videos week in and week out, he has been filming every single day to reach that target. It’s not like his videos are 30 or 40-second tricks. We know how huge his crazy challenge videos are—larger than life. So, it’s legit to work tirelessly every day to provide those kinds of extravagant videos on a regular basis.
In order to upload weekly videos later this year I’ve been filming every single day (and only have a couple days off filming between now and end of year) and I’m dying mentally. I hope you guys love these videos when they go up, I’m pushing myself to the max to get them done 😭
