Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has become a household name in the past few years. The YouTube maestro has achieved meteoric success on the red platform. This success has not only net him 91.8 million devoted subscribers on his main channel, but also multiple diamond play buttons. With such high accolades, it’s only natural to expect he lives a baller lifestyle without a care in the world. But you’d be wrong.

Jimmy suffers from a serious health condition that limits his lifestyle in some notable ways. Not the least of which is his dietary restrictions. Additionally, this disease has already cost him his passion in the past.

MrBeast shares details about his shocking health condition with Joe Rogan

Jimmy recently appeared on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ #1788. The episode saw the duo interact on various topics related to the star’s life. From his obsessive nature to some intriguing financial details. However, one segment saw Donaldson open up about living with Crohn’s disease. And how it has caused him to be cautious in several aspects of his life.

In a drastic reveal, Jimmy notes:

“I got Crohn’s when I was 15. So I like played baseball, non-stop. And then when I got Crohn’s I lost like 50 pounds.”

As a high schooler, that meant MrBeast could no longer continue playing baseball, as he revealed in his documentary. Rogan quickly inquires if his disease requires him to regulate his diet, to which he responds, “Yes. Very regulated diet.” Essentially, Jimmy can’t eat certain foods as it makes his inflammation flare-up, especially corn. And although it sounds like a minor inconvenience, it’s more drastic than that. “I can’t eat like a f*** load of stuff.”

Does this mean the YouTube behemoth can’t consume even his own food ventures like MrBeast Burger and Feastables? The short answer is- Yes, he can. However, not without making key changes.

“Even when I eat burgers, I usually take off the buns and just eat meat. I don’t really like bread that much anyways.“
