MrBeast graces the list of Times 100 most influential people of 2023

Besides making over-the-top content that no one had ever dreamt of creating, Jimmy, with his influence and wealth, is always ready to make a positive change in the world. A few years ago, Jimmy, with the help of former Nasa scientist turned YouTuber, Mark Rober, initiated a worldwide movement to plant millions of trees and clean the oceans. The projects were named Team Trees and Teams Seas. This venture, among many others, was noticed by Times Magazine, as it deemed him worthy of the honor. 

To give first-hand insight into the whole operation, Mark was approached by Times. “The best engineers I knew at NASA were the ones who could break a complex problem down to first principles. They could strip away the noise, reduce a problem to its essence, and find the solution. Jimmy Donaldson—known online by the handle MrBeast—is able to do that too.” said Rober.
