Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 isn’t all rainbows and unicorns. The much-awaited CoD title is being slammed for its open-combat setting which is making the long-time fans of the franchise furious. For many, this couldn’t be further from what makes a venerated CoD title. Now, as days go by, more issues come under the spotlight and fans clamor to make their feelings heard about the devs’ decision.
During the beta testing phase, many players complained about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s complicated launching process. Some fans even alleged that they thought the devs were probably joking. However, it was still a beta launch and fans believed that the full release would see betterment. But things aren’t looking too well as of yet.

With so many titles, keeping track of progress on every title can become a complicated affair. The devs announced Call of Duty HQ to mitigate the issue and bring all CoD titles under one roof. Fans are complaining the CoD HQ is making Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 look like it has a launcher within a launcher. What’s more, to properly launch MW3, many fans are being required to launch Modern Warfare 2 first. The early access to the game has players baffled by its complicacy.
Players must first launch Modern Warfare 2 and navigate to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Once clicked, the HQ app closes down, and awhile new app launches. Many allege that this could be avoided simply by bypassing CoD HQ altogether.
The community speaks its mind
Since the issue came to light, more and more fans have taken to social media to express their frustration over the matter. Some claim playing the game feels like doing a chore instead of looking forward to a fun time.
