Specifications for Mortal Kombat 1 Reboot revealed
First, let’s make one thing clear: the game will require 100GB of storage. So, if you have a bunch of unwanted games that you still have to play, finish them before September 19, and if you have enough storage, prepare yourself for the reboot. With that being said, some gamers are very particular about high-end graphics, a smooth walkthrough, and more. So, keeping both the minimum and the recommended in mind, here are the specification requirements in order to play the Mortal Kombat 1 reboot.
Minimum:
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-6600 | AMD Ryzen™ 3 3100 or Ryzen™ 5 2600
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce® GTX 980 or AMD Radeon™ RX 470 or Intel® Arc™ A750
- DirectX: Version 12

While it looks pretty decent for anyone to experience the fatality the game provides, many fans are dumbstruck by the storage requirement of the game. With 100GB required, the game requires nearly the same as that of GTA V, which happens to be an open-world. Graphics indeed is a factor to consider here, but the fans are having a hard time digesting it. And that was indeed the question asked by one of them.
The user asked, “How do they need 100GB drive space? Did they print out the code and assets and scanned them into .bmp files.”
