A new animated Mortal Kombat movie was announced in a recent tweet from Warner Bros. Entertainment. They are set to release the film on 17th October 2023. Furthermore, the movie will be available in 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray, and as a digital release. The titular character is a fan favorite, making this movie a must-watch for many.

The film will portray Johnny Cage as an action star who becomes involved with a hidden organization while searching for a lost co-star. The plot even has Johnny Cage fighting against the creatures of Netherrealm.
